Months of use with a Microsoft Surface Book have taught me tha its outer shell emits heat when the screen is closed with apps running. During the summer months, the warm metal shell attracts flies. Throughout the winter, the Surface offers our cats a happy sitting area. The accompanying photo shows one of the four flies that are currently hanging out on the warm Surface.
